Beverly Winfield of Anaheim, CA speaking on how life is easier now that she is more comfortable with cooking

“It’s hard managing the kids alone. And these classes took one more thing —dinner — off my plate. I now can cook confidently, and the kids love it!”.

Vicky Kislack getting a little cooking love from her hubby states:

“My hubby used to say he couldn’t cook. But I bought him Desire Cooking classes and now he has no excuse. And the kids like it! The downside? Now that we’re sharing kitchen chores, he told me I need to take out the trash!” .

Christine Courtien who works for IBM speaks about how her daughters covered cooking while she recovered from surgery:

“When I had surgery and the doctor told me to take things easy for six weeks, I was worried about feeding my daughters, ages 12 and 15. And I didn’t want them to make their ‘toast and egg surprise’ – the surprise is marshmallows and peanut butter. My doctor gave me a news release on Desire Your Cooking classes and suggested I take a look. I enjoyed watching the videos. So did my daughters. All three of us found the instructions detailed and easy to follow. And THEY cooked for me during my down time. Now that I’m back on my feet, we all enjoy cooking these dishes, and get some great bonding time in, too.”

Tameka Hall, a student at the University of South Florida says:

“When I headed off to college, I thought it would be all late-night pizza and soup-in-a-cup. But my aunt surprised me with ‘Appetizers and Such’ video recently. Now I’m impressing friends and feeding my study group. I can’t wait to show my family what all I’ve ‘learned’ at school!”

Sandy Carter of Hampton Virginia, speaking on her son whose in college says:

“When my son went away to college, I needed a unique gift for him. This was it! It teaches him everything he needs to cook popular meals. I’ll still worry about him while he’s away, but at least I’ll know he’s eating well!”

Luis Pintos, a husband, received a gift from his son (how nice), says:

“My wife handled all the cooking. When she passed away, I thought my future was in frozen dinners. Until my son sent me ‘Entrees Made Easy.’ I gave it a shot — and they are easy! Now I’m taking charge of my dinners, and enjoying it!”

Kathy Palmer from Mason, OH speaking on getting a good man to love her cooking:

“Although I always knew I had what it takes to get a good man, I felt like I was overshadowed by southern girls who could cook. I purchased all three DVDs and now I have everything: Good looks, good brains, good personality and good eats!”

Tony Blydenburgh of Fort Lauderdale, FL stepping up his game in the kitchen says:

“Growing up, I was always on the court sharpening my skills to impress my friends. Now that I’m older and trying to impress my girl, I realized I needed to sharpen my skills in the kitchen. The entrée training video was exactly what I needed to make her dinner when she visits. I think I won her heart – and her stomach.”

Tired of hearing a little bit of this and a little bit of that from Sharon Avery:

“The worst part about cooking is having to call my mom, my granmom, my aunt or a friend to try and remember what goes in my favorite meals. Now I just pop the DVD in and refresh my memory. And I can actually call home just to say ‘hi.”

Craig Wilke speaking on the simplicity of the videos:

“All I had to do was buy the food. That’s it. Thanks, LaBarb.”

Chris Mace from Cincinnati, OH speaking on the delicious banana pudding (yes, it is good Chris, I love it too), states:

“That banana pudding is the bomb!!!!!”

Valerie Thorpe of Phoenix, AZ speaking on the consistency and the step by step instructions says:

“My problem has always been with seasonings. Too much. Too little. I could never get it just right. I especially like the approach in these DVDs because they tell you everything you need from the exact measurements for the seasonings to the size of the pots and pans you need. Just like the Web site said it would.”
